Very great news! But this patch will work with GoG version?

Apparently this fixes the stability on Windows 7 and Vista. Nice.

Well, I tried to install it. When I started the patch installer I had to specify the directory. Problem was that it said I should make sure it was installed there. Which it was :(

I just installed it to my Gog\Arx Fatalis folder and it seems to work nicely. Not sure if it was there before, but i was even able to select my widescreen monitor's resolution.

I was also quite surprised when I saw a patch in Steam News for the game. Would like to know if everything works well with GoG version.

Just pick your GOG.com folder and it will add "Arx Fatalis" in there. Worked for me!

They released the patch on Steam, so I think the GOG installer will be updated as well.

well, i installed it and on my win7 x64 dual core installation the grey flickering is gone. but I also get around 3 fps when many monsters are on screen. so I will rather continue playing it on my laptop (single core/xp) although they fixed the aspect ratio and hud. At any rate: thanks a lot for the work ! let's hope gog will release an updated installer.

Arkane is awesome.
Arkane is awesome.
Arkane is awesome.
Now we can see some uber-ultra-super-enhanced update with built-in antialiasing while we wait for Arx Fatalis II.
