When Arx Fatalis first loads, after the initial load screen - the game will still sit there for five minutes with a black screen before the image appears.

Loading save files from there on out work normally but it is always the game start up that does this - is this typical?

I think this game should be renamed to "Argh Failed to load"

I tried the load-a-game-from-sparsely-populated-place-then-load-last-saved-game..

But after twice getting 6 mins of black screen and frozen mouse I gave up.

When you only have 30 mins for a quick game and waste 20mins looking at a black screen you quickly loose interest in this game.

Maybe its just that my last saved game is corrupt.. in which case I have to re-do everything I did since the last one.. again another big time-waster.

This very sad as I would love to play this game but its not for those of use with small chunks of time to play.. how very sad.

Maybe games should be rated on easy of loading/playing.. in which case this gets a very low score.

Ok.. rant over.. Im going to play Just Cause 2 now which is quick and simple and good for a 15min burst of gameplay.
