Hi Ogy, and welcome to the GoG forums.

Sounds like this maybe a resolution issue? If memory serves, the game initialises at 800x600 resolution - you dont have some obscure resolution / display setup with your machine?

otherwise, make sure you download the game again from GoG - they updated the installer with the new patch only 2 days ago, it may help with your issue.

Good luck!

ALSO - check out the 'game doesn't start' thread in this very forum - it has some tweaks to try!

This has been a long standing problem but was fixed with the new patch, at least for most...Sure you have 1.21?

Usually you can check your AA settings by right-clicking on your desktop, and looking for your graphics card configuration on the menu that pops up. Do you have an Nvidia card now? If so, when you right-click on your desktop, one of the things on the menu that pops up says "Nvidia Control panel". Click on that, then when the control panel comes up, look on the left and you will see an option called "3D settings", and underneath that, there will be something that says "manage 3D settings". If you click that, you will see a list of different 3D settings. There are several antialiasing settings, make sure that they are set either to "off" or to "application controlled". If they are set to "on", then you are trying to force antialiasing and it can cause problems with some games.

Well, you should be able to get it to work with the card you have. It's possible that it's not the AA setting but something else that's causing the problem. Anyone else have ideas?
