Reading the Mobygames entry on Arx Fatalis, I see there was a Collector Edition.

That entry lists, among other things, a video of the Making-of included on an extra cd.
That would be a nice additional feature to have for the GOG version.
By the way, thanks GOG, for giving users the option of buying games without DRM.

I'm really backing up the Making of video, I always loved that stuff.
Plus both Strategy Guide and the Art Book should be quite easily attained as PDF files.
The publisher for both those games seem to be different, but I'm hoping GOG.com got their release from the developer so we would have a chance to see these extras.

Oh, Arkane Studios a while back did release the SECOND DISC (for the original Euro version of the game) for free download from their arxfatalis-online site (which is old and no longer up). It was like over 150 MB or something of the sort.
Let me see if that's still around on The Internet...
That had all kinds of wallpapers, making of the game, Aquanox demo, and other stuff.
Is that the disc you're looking for?

Oh, there was a Collector's Ed of the game released with a different second disc, eh?

That sounds sweet, I hope GOG researches into this matter. I hope they can obtain the extras from Arkane Studios.

I'll have to look harder to find it on the Net...couldn't find it even on Fileplanet.
I'd have to look through the ZIP file here and all but I think it only had...

I wonder if there's any way we can get GOG / CD Project to add The Bonus Disc to their set of EXTRA Downloads for those who buy Arx Fatalis through GOG here?
I mean, hell -- JoWood and Arkane did release that bonus Disc for free online, back when the game was popular and gamers requested the heck out of it.
I mean really, only way someone's gonna notice this is -- well, if they look in this thread...

I haven't bought Arx from GOG.
I still own it on disc, actually.
About Collectors Edition:
It was released not so long ago and we just cannot add Collectors Edition bonus materials.

Actually, that extra disc that I tossed (and a few others) tossed a link up for is NOT from the Collector's Ed (2009 Re-release).
Our link is The Bonus Disc from the Original Edition of the game that was sold in Europe/UK, back when the game got released there.
Arkane did have 150 MB download that up on their webpage, back in the day before the official Arx site wound up removed.
I've never seen The 2009 Collector's Ed re-release of Arx here in the USA.
Hell, I don't even think that version got even released here on disc.
Hell, I don't even know WHAT the extras that are on THAT Edition of the game!
