Help! I bought ARMA 2 from GOG 2 days ago and installed it without the GOG installer. I used dayzcommander to install dayz and so far it works. When i try to join any online server a message pops up after joining stating, "bad cd key your cd key is disabled please contact customer service." Does anyone have the same problem? I really would appreciate any help.

Did you use the arma2serial.exe to install the serial key that GOG gave you?

Arma2serial.exe is found in the game folder, your serial key is found in Your Account page at GOG under Arma II game (where you downloaded the game from).

Yes I did. How are you meant to do it? Is it immediately after installation? I'm very lost.

I had the same problem, you have to run "arma2serial.exe" with administrator rights.

Off topic but you guys may know. I purchased the combined ops through GOG because it was really cheap today, can I activate it on Steam? I've tried but it doesn't want to go?

I keep forgetting to mention Admin Rights.
