Hello,

I like to play full screen with no cockpit, but then I don't have any green, red or yellow points on the voxelradar. When I activate the cockpit instead, everything seems fine and I can see the enemy, allies etc. on the radar.

People had that problem some time ago and could solve it, but right now the GOG-version has this bug.

Maybe someone here can help?

Just read through the forum you linked to and the last post was dated 14/08/2015 (5 days ago) detailing the same issue you are having, so it looks like the latest SVN builds of DOSBox re-introduced the issue and that's probably why the GOG version has it too. The guy managed to fix it by using a different custom DOSBox (one by Flint Eastwood - I've never heard of this DOSBox version before) so I'd suggest if you want to fix the voxel radar with no cockpit you try to find this DOSBox and use it to replace the DOSBox that the GOG version comes with.
Found Flint Eastwood's DOSBox - it's his own compiling of an SVN DOSBox build from source with some of his tweaks put in. http://jealousjellyfish.de/viewtopic.php?p=9785#p9785

It is attached to that post in a RAR file here: http://jealousjellyfish.de/download/file.php?id=497

It is from November 2012 though, so I guess his tweaks haven't made it into the main SVN builds. Give it a try and see if it solves it for you.

You could also use the non-3dfx version of the game if you want to play full screen with no cockpit. Although then you miss out on the slightly better 3dfx rendering.

To start the non-3dfx version, in file dosbox_ad_single.conf replace "ad3dfx.exe" with "ad2.exe" for the english or french version, or "sf3dfx.exe" with "sf.exe" for the german version.

After hours and hours of trial & error i can confirm, that the build from Flint Eastwood is the ONLY one that can run 3DFX Mode without cockpit.

What to do?
1) Install GOG Version
2) Copy content of Dosbox074SVN from Flints Build to your Archimedean Dynasty\DOSBOX folder (overwrite all files)

Game should already work... but I did also
3) Updated NGlide to the latest Version in my Archimedean Dynasty\DOSBOX folder
4) delete/rename 3dfxSpl2.dll in Archimedean Dynasty\DOSBOX (to remove 3DFX Logo)
5) deactivate Antialiasing and VSYNC in drivers (to avoid stuttering)

Settings for NGlide 2.00 (in my case) - nglide_config.exe:
Video Backend: Vulkan (faster load times)
Screen Resolution: 1600x1200
Aspect Ratio: Preserve Original
Refresh Rate: By app (default)
VSYNC: off
Gamma correction: 1.0 (Default)
3Dfx logo splash screen: off

@GOG: Please look into it and include the fix or contact Flint Eastwood.
