Cadaver747: In reality that link has a game distributive (full game) along with fixed Russian localization from Fargus (made by Jester's Studio and not by Fargus directly) - posting that link would mean breach of contract with GOG (Terms and Agreements). See?
And OP replied to me in private chat how he wanted a stand alone localization from Fargus (from a Russian pirate version of a game) to be implemented into GOG version which does not exists but there is a Grand Fix.
The OP is not happy with RePack or Grand Fix solutions because of reasons.
Oh, that makes more sense. That would be bad for Gog's reputation (and they could get into legal trouble down the road, if they allowed such links).
I wonder about the complexity of creating a "patcher" that checks if the final user has Gog's version installed, and overwrites the necessary files, to change the language of the game.
There's some tools like NSIS out there, to help modders (I haven't tested it yet, but I might. I've been editing maps and other stuff, in a cRPG).
From what I gathered, there's more than one team working on Russian mods for Arcanum. Hopefully a patcher is released, eventually.
