I notice that some reason his health is rarely 100 % and if i heal him nothing is added to his health i even rest sometimes and his health isnt full what am i doing wrong?
Just a hunch, but I'm guessing your healing is incompatible with Magnus' magic/tech alignment. Magical healing barely touches a strongly tech-aligned character, and vice-versa.

You can also find/buy heal & fatigue "chewables" (don't know what else to call them) instead of potions.

As for being lost, I would google for a map of whatever dungeon you're in.

thanks for the fast reply, the problem is some areas are dark.

Do you remember what the area you are in is called? As far as I can recall there aren't any underground areas which are totally pitch black where you need a light source of some type. Maybe your gamma/lighting settings are too low? You can buy lanterns/make electric lights though and carry them in the off hand. But I have never really needed one, so I would definitely check your contrast and brightness settings.

I've played the games many, many times. No spoilers will effect me. :D

The BMC mines shouldn't be that dark. I think you should really check your brightness settings.

To equip a lantern put it in the off hand (shield hand) in your inventory. It doesn't make that much light, just a small circle around the PC.

That is very strange that the dungeon is that dark. Have other caves been too dark for you to see well? Places like the silver mine in Shrouded Hills, the Wolf cave near Dernholm, the caves or sewers under Tarant. If it is a general problem then you might just have a dark monitor or you'll just have to actually carry around a lantern on your character. We you able to get to the end of the BMC mines before teleporting out or did you not finish the quest line there yet?

Oh, another suggestion for navigating dark tunnels is to open your map and use the local map to drop way points for your character and move that way if you can't see where you are going in the normal window. I think the map is slightly lighter than the "real world".

Hmm... another thought: I know there is a background that makes the PC able to see in the dark better at the expense of seeing in the light well; is there a similar background which makes you more blind at night/in caves? That could be making it extremely dark.

Also, could you take a screenshot of how dark it is it in the cave? I want to see how dark it is.

As others have said, you can purchase healing salves to heal Magnus. He should recover HP when resting though, but you can't rest when you're in a dungeon I don't think. You'd have to go outside to be able to fully rest. Also you often need to rest for quite a long time in order to fully recover HP for your allies. Using "rest until healed" will only rest until YOU are healed, not your allies, so you may have to rest some extra time to heal them up.

Your screenshot of the map looks normal to me... I think as you explore more areas the map screen will light up. The "shadowy" areas are places you haven't been yet.

Also, the Black Mountain Clan Mines are considered by many to be the hardest / most annoying part of the game, but don't give up! Once you're through them the game gets much better.

You can get your armor fixed in Tarant but I'm not sure if they can fix a completely broken item. Worth a try though.

By the way, Magnus will learn to smith some things for you, and if you want him to make for example a large version of an armor for you, you just need to start him off with a large version. For example, the healing jacket requires a leather armor as one of the ingredients, so if you use a large leather armor you'll get a large healing jacket. This is not really made clear in the game manual.

And yeah, large and small armor is harder to find but not impossible. Always check the shops as they might have some and of course be sure to loot any half-ogre enemies you find for their large armor.

Nice i will when i get out those blasted sewers i raided a house where there were orc beserkers the doorman didnt want to take me in so i let myself in killed everyone there and the leader and then i couldnt get out i couldnt get trough the door strangly enough so i entered the sewers. Btw i noticed thar sometimes there are moments that you have dialogues that you want to play a good guy but those answers are just bad*** that you forget that you want to be aa goody goody.
