After i create a new game, and a male starts talking to me ingame, i get a black screen, where only the hud elements are visible. I already tried the usual reinstall and repair, but it didnt help. Any ideas?

Same here. I had the black screen, and I searched and found a fix about adding some switches (no3d and doublebuffer IIRC) to the shortcut.

But before doing that, I installed the unofficial fan patch, in the stickied post at the top of the forum and that fixed it, so I didn't have to mess with the shortcut.

I tried to change to shortcut, but it says it's not valid path. Any idea?
