Hey folks :-)

Is there a way to patch the GOG version of Anno 1701 to the german language in GOG Galaxy? It seems that I can't change the language...

Encountered the same problem. Couldn't seem to change the language from English to German when trying to install Anno 1701 via Galaxy (usually: More --> Configure --> Language).

I just downloaded the full German installer from my library via the GOG website, Galaxy detected it afterwards. GOG Galaxy is still extremly unconvenient in many regards, I really hope that this is going to change when it leaves beta status.

The new Galaxy 1.1 update allows you to choose the desired langauge when first installing the game. The Galaxy update is only available as a preview version right now (has to be enabled in the Galaxy setting) but the update is said to roll out soon for all users.
