Same Problem!

If I"m understanding you are looking for the serial key. It can be found on the website.
1) Where you see your avatar name with the down chevron, it will list options. click on the games options. It will bring up a list of all your currently owned games.
2) Click on the icon for Anno 1404. That will bring up a new screen. Right under the name is a word, More with the down chevron.
3) Click on the more icon with the down chevron, it will bring up a list of options, the third one down reads serial keys.
4) Click on it and it will show you the serial key for your game.

Thanks guys I already figured it out myself but I bought a copy of this game as a gift for a friend and when he views the cd key page it says that the cd key is already used. That is impossible because he got it as a gift in first place and even tho i used my own cd key its still showing up. How can he get a cd key?

That does happen sometimes with this service. You will need to contact gog.com service to obtain a new key. Explain that it states that they key has already been used when trying to use it for multi-player

bought the game for my wife and the serial key section says they're depleted.
Well... Selling keys which you don't even own seems a bit shady for me.

Don't know how something like this can happen, but GOG lost a lot of trust for this one.

Hope this is getting fixed.

Same problem I am waiting for days for a reply from the admins, seems not getting it soon any 1 has like an idea how long this takes?

I have no intention to play mp, but I save all cd/multiplayer keys of my GOG games just in case. I just bought Anno 1404, I go to the serial keys option and... "Serial keys depleted" ... I will be writing promptly to GOG support.

Same problem! Instead of serial number it says "serial keys depleted". Maybe there is another way to get that serial number, maybe via game files in the installation folder? Any solution?

Got the game as a gift from my brother and the serial keys window shows "Serial keys depleted" so I can't activate the game to play Multiplayer with him.

Do you have a reaction from them? I made a ticket and after 7 days still I'm still waiting for any reaction.

GOG only assigned my request, but I got no answer yet. Don't know about the others in the thread, but I will update as soon as I get a / any answer.

I have only been assigned aswell. No help within 12-24 hours, it's been 7 days and I haven't even been told it will take longer than usually.

I also opened a ticket yesterday. No response so far.


For those looking for the menu entry in GOG galaxy: it is missing. You'll have to login to the website and go to your library.

I apologize for this. We recently ran out of keys for Anno 1404 and are still waiting for a new batch. As soon as we get it, we will upload it to appear instead of that "Serial keys depleted" message on users' accounts. Unfortunately we are unable to give you any ETA for now, but we will add them as soon as possible.

No ETA so it might be a while before the issue is resolved. Just posting here so people know they are aware of the problem.
