Hello All!

This week Ubisoft is giving away Anno 1404 History edition.

I already have Anno 1404 here on gog.com,
My google fu is weak, what differences are there with the history edition?

Looks like it's been optimized for newer PCs, utilizing more RAM capacity, higher resolutions and multiplayer at the cost of Uplay DRM.

Many fans of the Anno 1404 game thought the history edition was actually a downgrade, but perhaps they have fixed it now. I specifically remember many getting crashes on a certain directx version. You'd assume they would have patched that by now but... it's ubisoft.

I have actually noticed absolutely no difference between what I have on gog.com and the free game from Ubisoft. I do not know what version gog.com has but it seems to work fine with both versions.
