So I picked this game up, never played it before but it was one of those games I always saw in that golden age of games where I didn't own a PC to play them, and it installed easy and all like all gog games too but... well...
Is it just me, or does the FPS on this game just TANK if there's more then two characters on screen?
Now my computer is physically more then capable of running this, Nvidia GT 440 I gig GPU, 8 gigs of ram, and a AMD Phenom II Quad Core processor. Running Skyrim on High Settings doesn't chug like this so, I'm figuring it's something mechanically wrong with either the port or the settings I've used.
I'm running it on standard setup, Open GL and the High-Res patch, and windowed because my computer's widescreen, but this game tanks down to about 10 to 15 FPS anytime I leave even the narrowest of corridor, or have more then three non-party characters on the game. I've already tried the fix for setting up a .INI file in roaming for FPS = 500 and such with no noticeable effect.
Anyone have any advice on fixing this, or is this just how it is for this game on Windows 7 and modern hardware?
