Not sure if anyone tried patching the GOG version of the game, but for me, after installing the patch it now requires me to "insert CD 2", which I obviously can't. I guess I'll have to re-download it from GOG again since it won't boot now.

Also, has anyone had problems switching to High-Res Graphics? When I try to switch it says they'll update after closing the options screen and it seems like it's trying to (it'll flash the desktop and say "one moment. . . . .", but then goes back to Low-Res. How do you fix this?

There's no need to patch the game. It's already fully patched.

Seems to. The base GOG.com version of the game includes patch notes in the game directory for unofficial builds 44, 45, and 46, so I'm assuming it's all in there already.

It looks like someone installed the Trader Bot fix, too.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but weren't the community patches actually created by someone at ION Storm in there own time after ION Storm shut down? Or was that only some of the patches?

You remember correctly, the Patches were made by ex-developers in their spare time, Tom Hall even wanted to do 2 Anachronox add-ons , but he can't. Sohe's promised to tell us how the Story ends if he can't make it within the next few years. (He said he'd wait till 2020, then he'd tell us.)
