I recently bought "Xpadder" to use my Xbox 360 controller on some PC games here and thought that this would work great with Anachronox. So far I have most of the keys mapped out just right on my controller, such as moving the mouse/avatar around, switching the main avatar, and triggering world-skills. However, when I bind the "\" key to my controller, its not triggering the speed feature of the game, such as when you press the same key on the keyboard.

I tested this in a blank text file to see if my controller produces the key when I press the button on my controller and it does work. But for some reason the game only speeds up when I press and hold down the key on the keyboard, and not on my controller.

I'm not sure if I should post this question here or at the Xpadder forum, but maybe someone here could help me out?

I don't know how to fix your problem, but you can try to change the binding in the default.cfg (i think) to a "normal" key like 1 or S, maybe that will fix your compatibility issues.

It could be that the system gets confused since there are two / keys on the keyboard.

I just tested this by switching the "bind" command from forward slash ("\") to "q" and it works with Xpadder now. Not sure why it wasn't working with the previous key, but at least its working now. Thanks!
