I've got the Lucko bug. Happens when I follow him to the Platforms area, he's gone, and going on to the Anachronox Tours area gives me a game over screen.

Running on Windows 7 64-bit... here's my dxdiag if that helps: http://pastebin.com/bdvfarpU

There's a key to speed up the game. If you speed it up when the level switch occurs (after which he normally vanishes) he should be there again. Sadly I forgot which key it was. F12?

Hope this helps you. It helped with my cd version...

This did it for me, thanks.

The speed-up key is backslash ( \ ) if anyone else runs into the same issue.
Thanks for the heads up guys ;)

Glad you got past it, but still... that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Did you do that fps thing I mentioned in the other thread by any chance, or was that on a normal install?

Can that key be redefined somehow? I ask as it cannot be used on Japanese OSes when games force a US keyboard layout. Thus if I run into this bug without being able to use a different key to speed the game up, there's going to be a problem =/

You can change the key binding in Anachronox install directory\anoxdata\CONFIGS\default.cfg. Open the file with notepad, search for "bind \ +superfast", then change "\" to some other key.

Cheers for that.

warwon: I just want to know before I through down money on a digital copy compared to my cd copy is this truly v1.02 build 46?
avatar
timeslip: Yes, it is build 46, along with a few additional fixes.
So there is Taxi service implemented and you can beat the Doorlord? These are the most important for me.

The taxi is in, yes. As for the doorlord, you may need to apply the fix that can found in the Bug thread.

Cool, thanks for the clarification and the info, I found the doorlord fix in the bug forum. :)
