Hi folks,

I'm super happy that GoG was onboard with the Cossacks/American Conquest series. They are fantastic games and kudos to the fine folks of GOG of securing them.

I have a question: I've noticed that when I play Fights Back there is a constant small stutter when I play the game. Specifically, the game itself will stop within a second and then resume, then continue doing. I can see the peasants walking, then freeze for a half second, then resume walking, and then the minute stutter takes place again.

Anyone else notice this? If so any solutions?

I had a stutter like you say when i had my map at large and huge the stutter occurs but when i run it in normal map size no more stutter give it a shot and see if it helps

You sir are a genius. Just tried your recommendations on American conquest fights back. Works like a charm. I love this series and on XP they ran flawlessly but on windows 7 they had that stutter.

I have the same problem. For me chaging the game mode from fast to slow and slow to fast fixes the problem for like 10 minutes but then it starts stuttering and lagging again. This only happens on 2x2 and 4x4 map size.
