Is anyone else experiencing a lack of in-game sound effects? When I run AvP, I can hear the theme music for the menus and various levels, but not any of the sound effects like gun fire or explosions. Any ideas on a solution?

OK, I just found the solution: you have to go into Control Panel, and under your audio settings, set the audio to "stereo".

Yes, I`m having the same problem with no in game sound affects.

Also, The game music cuts and restarts every so often.
Thanks for the solution!

It's in your windows control panel options. The exact place will vary depending on your sound card.
