I can't seem to find the issue so maybe I'm just not pressing the right key or anything but the messages will get cut off and have no option to scroll.

I'm afraid you can't do anything with it. There is no scrolling buttons in those windows because in campaign mode texts are short enough to fit in them. And then apparently nobody checked that it's not the case with the tutorial.

My general opinion about both games is that they seriously lack any kind of testing. For example in the first game you are supposed to trade with your neighbour and acquire 5 units of mushroom juice. The problem is that your neighbour.... barely produce any juice at all and he's not willing to trade his limited supplies! You can't win this mission and it's not your fault! You can either use cheats or you can set up automated trade and leave the game running for several hours. Eventually you will get what you want but seriously, it's just lame that nobody tested those games. I mean those kind of bugs are very easy to find after all!

Alright I just saw *no* postings about this issue and was wondering if it was me or not. I'm generally a good study and really good at games so I can probably figure it out easily on my own, I'll just need to walk my girlfriend through what I learned and try my best to fill in the blanks. Thanks for the reply! *opens the manual and launches the game*
thanks, i was wondering this myself.
