Or GOG's version already have the same extras? (soundtrack, Illustrated PDF Book...)
Seems like it has everything except the soundtrack.

News page gives the hint (stay tuned for more extras soon) but noone except gog knows what it will be
And just in time Steam offers Alan Wake for 50% with the soundtrack …

I hope it will be at least the soundtrack. I finished episode 1 until now and i really enjoyed the music so far.

Yeah, what is up with that?
I own the Limited Edition on 360, and I can confirm that everything except the soundtrack come with this Alan Wake package on GOG.

I highly suggest people check out The Alan Wake Files book AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME! It's a great read that fills in the mythos of Bright Falls that much more.

I will also say that if you haven't played this game before, you are in for a treat. The combat can get a tad bit repetitive, but the mood and atmosphere as well as story are FAN-TAS-TIC!

Thanks for the replies. I love GOG and DRM Free games so I bought Alan Wake from GOG instead of Steam. I hope GOG will sell the soundtrack separately or add it to bonus content.

I vote for bonus content ;)

"--and get with the manual, wallpaper, and a number of videos and extra goodies (stay tuned for more extras soon) all for one great price!"

That's directly from the release story in the last paragraph. I would say that, yes, they will likely add the soundtrack at a later date.

As nice as it would seem the soundtrack isn't all that great. It's not bad but you don't get all the music in the game, of the tracks that play between episodes there are only four on the soundtrack.

I've got the soundtrack from the 360 Limited Edition, and it's a good listen stand alone from the game. I'm sure they'll throw it in at some later point.

Honestly, though...The Alan Wake Files is one of the best damn things ever. That book is a great follow-up for the game.

Does it come with the in-game commentary?

Yes, it does.
You can activate it through the Options menu.

Awesome, thank you.
I would like to point out to those that are asking about the soundtrack: I forgot about something.

The game itself has the soundtrack already in the Extras section. Unfortunately, you have to clear episodes and make sure to turn on the radios in order to activate that stuff.

Nonetheless, it's at least IN the game if you want to go listen to those tracks. I would highly recommend checking out Poets of the Fall's "War". Excellent excellent EXCELLENT song.
