When I load into the game, in the airport terminal, there's a fair amount of CGA-looking artefacts flashing on the screen. Has anyone experienced this, or know how to correct the issue?

EDIT: I have a GTX680.

I have not stumbled upon such an issue with ATD, but it is fairly common in Windows Vista/7/8 with certain old games. The simplest way to tackle this is to run the gane, pop up Task Manager (by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and kill the explorer.exe process. You can then get back to the game and colours should be fine. When you're done playing, just use the task manager to run a new instance of explorer.exe. In the long run, it comes in handy to prepare a .cmd script, involving taskkill tool.

Other possible solution might be to run the AT.EXE executable using /NOVGARAM (must be written in capitals) parameter.

I tried both of these, and they didn't correct this issue. I also tried running as administrator and with Windows XP SP2 compatibility, and these didn't work either. I've tried turning off blinds, scrolling, etc, in the Options->Graphics settings, as well.

The game seems unresponsive at times. For instance, I go to the room with two employees, click on the man and ask for a file, ... and nothing.

I'll get with support next, I guess. Thanks for your reply on this.

EDIT:

SOLUTION:

So, had I done my research up-front, I could've saved us all a bit of time. Support already had an article for this. From the support page for Airline Tycoon:

In late January, NVIDIA introduced in tis drivers the Supersampling option. It essentially renders the game in up to quadruple resolution, and scales it back down to your actual resolution. This is a specific anti-aliasing method, rarely implemented in games (Witcher 2 was an exception, and called it "Ubersampling").
It is enabled by default on GTX 980 cards, and optional on others.
It has been known to cause launch issues with older games, as it forces them to use an unsupported resolution.

To disable this option, right-click your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel". Go to "3D Settings" and find the "DSR - Factors" option. Un-select all possible settings and confirm. This should change the setting to "Off". Apply the changes and check if this resolved the issue.

For me, this corrected the issue, and the game displays and plays correctly now.
