I have reworked the map in a moderately thorough way. I have addressed every criticism of it, though there is only one way to find out how much better the map will now play out.

So, post in this thread for an Age of Wonders 1 PBEM game (for the benefit of lurkers), on a map made by yours truly!

I'd love to but during the Xmas holidays I'll be away 2 weeks, starting on the 23rd. I'm not lugging PCs around ^_^'

Holy crap?!? Another play through of Xelm? Quit sucking up the playing time of my potential AoW:SM playing friends.

I keep thinking this should be Xelm 3, but I also keep forgetting that I wasn't in the first iteration. I think it died with DaemonVirus?

I'm debating signing up for this one. I'd want to play either Elves or Azracs, I think, to see whether I'm full of crap about some of my issues.

I get a suspicion he might have quit after I freezed the water around his transport, summoned a spider, enchanted it with wind walking and then destroyed his ship (with occupants) and then dashed for his nearby fourblock that he had just recently conquered (using said boat and occupants).

That doesn't account for all the other maps, at least one of which he had (I assume) finally finished me off.

That's pretty epic, but it was rather that he got a hard manual labour job in a pork factory and his wife had a kid at the same time.
Daemonvirus is okay in my book but he just shouldn't be allowed in more than two games at once if/when he returns.
