mrdeviousarrows: I just got this game (before the sale btw :/) so I'm not entirely clear on how everything works, maybe exp/levels are capped on each map? Anyway I just noticed that my leader hasn't levelled up/gained any exp since last levelling up about 4 or 5 hrs ago, is this normal?
If you're talking about Age of Wonders 1, the reason for the hero/leader not leveling is because it has reached it's maximum level for that level. There is a level cap on each level. Especially on the campaign. Each new campaign level allows the hero to gain two levels. After that it'll be maxed and he won't gain more experience until you reach the next campaign level.
