Mimo: Wait a sec, seriously? I always assumed that the overproduction was converted to gold. It's one of the reasons I always went with Spirit Shrines (besides the useful Quests)... Holy crap, if this is true I gotta rethink things. There are efficiencies I'm losing.

If you know your final goal is making a 300 cost unit, your target is 50, 60, or 100 production. Tough to start long term planning so far out when you don't know when you'll get the Constructor ability.
I just tested it and you indeed get nothing.
I had 40 production town and built siege workshop for 150.
Turn before completion I had 100 gold and 25 income. and the turn it got built I had 125, not 135 as it would be with overproduction.

Anyway, is there way to have more than 120 production or is it max and it isn't possible to build 250 gold building in 2 turns by ordinary means?

Vitek: You pay your workers? o_O
That must be expensive.
It is either that, or the advisor I gave the money to for hiring workers has been pocketing it.

...excuse me, I need to go have a chat with someone.

It is probably my turn. I didn't even crack open the wrapper last night. I'll get to my turns tonight.

Always worth it to hurry the last tiny bit when it's a fraction of your production.

See Heaven Games Strategy: LINK

A pain in the arse to micromanage like this, but obviously worth it.

I don't think so. I don't recall seeing any "Production Boost" spells, and a Productive Race combined with a Productive Wizard in a fully built out town yields 120 hammers.

Meanwhile, a non-production race, with an anti-productive wizard, in a fully built out town yields like 55 hammers. >.<

Bookwyrm627: Goblins, Day 30
Should be your turn. Day 30 has been completed by all players and you're first in line for Day 31.

You expect me actually READ all your darn posts. Is this like a JOB or something now? Geez, next thing you know you'll expect me to fix healthcare, taxes, and start hanging out with the poor suckers that can't even afford an over cooked prime rib steak at my restaurants. Oh yeah, and have a land war in Asia while starting a trade war at home. One thing is for sure, I'm only kissing the babies I'm married to or thinking about marrying in the future from here on out.

How am I supposed to lie to you about what happened during my turn if you don't actually read my reports? :(

Forever Alone, Day 47

No point in writing anything. No one reads them anyway. :'(

TS
WTF is wrong with this game? Sometimes a group of units is sufficient to raze something, and other times that exact group isn't sufficient.

Ugh.

Yaka, Day 31

My air nodes are very precious. I cast spells upon them to protect them from unworthy and low level invaders. Die Goblin scum, die. Everywhere. No underground concealment for you here! (I hope.)

was it a different 'something'?

Humans, Day 31

It's time to finally react to the impudence of the East. Assuming we can.

Nope. I ran a test to see how much force I needed to raze something, and my test stack burned it while my actual stack was unable to do so. Same type of target, same units, even same terrain.

I'm wondering if I needed to wait for the game to "update", similar to how a city's status doesn't change between anarchy and content (or whatever) as soon as you move units in/out.
I've got the save. Will play my turn later tonight.
Goblins, Day 32

That's really, really infuriating. By all accounts, that quest should be complete, and there is less than zero indication as to why I couldn't finish it by razing the damn node.

TS
Yaka, Day 32

No problem razing things when I try to do it! Buggers were gonna rebel anyway, so let 'em sow rebellion in salted fields I say...

Bad guys are doing a good job of killing off my troops though. Don't like that.
