What is THIS all about? I bought the deluxe version of Age of Wonders 3. I have to run to my soul-sucking job atm, but am hoping to be able to play a bit when I get home! Can anyone tell me what this Triumph Account and Password is about?! I can't launch the game because of it. Since I'm running out the door, I do not have time right now to sift through the forums, and nothing is jumping out at me taking a quick look at the headlines. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Rebecca

Click on the guest account checkbox on the bottom of the launcher, afaik the Triumph account is just needed for multiplayer.

That's correct :)
Yes but the Guest account appears to be a null account meaning it zeros itself out Every time the game is launched. Settings are NOT being saved. They need to fix this or add an actual profile account that SAVES the settings.
Does this "Guest Account" require any sort of internet connection or is it purely local?

No connection required at all for the guest account. We tested this thoroughly including physically disconnecting the PC from the internet.

You can also play the online account off-line. That is, you'll be asked if you really want to play that account offline. Click yes and away you go. This was also tested with a completely disconnected PC.

Please send issues such as this one to our Support department so that we can collect them and send them off to Triumph all at once. Sending a ticket to Support lets us know just how serious a given technical problem is by the amount of tickets we get about it. Thanks :)

like the previous posters already pointed out, you only need that for the multiplayer. but i registered an account on the official AoW3 website which is also my forum account there, it's nice to talk to other people about the game in terms of strategy / general questions or to have a meeting point for planned multiplayer sessions. if the game sells well, which i think it will cause its great and already has a good amount of very positive review, then they plan to extend the gameplay with addons and / or dlc's. i heard some people talking about undead being on the top5 wishlist of additions to the game as a race (besides tigrens, haflings, frostlings, etc). but the devs throw out the idea to have the class of necromancer instead of the undead race, so (i believe) every race could turn undead, great things ahead i believe.

creating an account is quick and easy, also you don't have to be online to play this game.

Ok thanks, I went ahead and created a ticket. Hopefully there will be some fixes for these issues pretty soon : )
