My wizard just hit level 2, and he has -23/-23 skill points to spend. Are we going to keep going and hope for the best?

Somehow the Leaders all got reverted to level 1, despite me setting them to level 3 to give them Spellcasting III, so that's how the negative points occurred.
And yeah they also had abilities from my mod (like lightning prot on the dark elf leader) also costing points. What a mess.

Humans, Day 4

Goodness! The wizards of a nearby Tower have Mastery over the whole Sphere of fire! But I cannot afford their price and the wisdom of casting such a spell is questionable. Perhaps it is appropriate that their tower overlooks the southern desert.

Hahahahaha. I'm not laughing at you Book. Just at the imagined look on your face when you went to go spend those hard earned skill points upon leveling up. :)

Orcs, Day 5

Living in these wastes must have made the native orcs weak. They outnumbered the enemy and still fell like barley before the sickle. What useless minions.

4 orc swords and 1 orc archer vs 1 orc sword and 1 orc assassin. You'd think the superior numbers would get the job done, right?

Accuracy rates:
Indies: 11/12 hits. Only a single miss.
My guys: 2/8 hits. 4 damage units, and they only managed to do 3 damage total before all dying.

"Perplexed Stare" was my first reaction. I admit I even tried seeing if I could deduct points from other stats to recover SOMETHING. And I sighed as I recalled Southern talking about how Wall Climbing, which I was planning to purchase immediately, should cost more than 5 points. I guess he pulled that off in this map too. :)

new ability purchases should be at 1.36 costs.

IIRC I have Spellcasting III but that should only cost 40... maybe some stats like +1 atk and +1hp IIRC but that's only up to 40..... I really don't know what is going on.

Restart due to me thinking my game was hooped with my level up at -35 points.. so reloaded game. Now reading the forum and noting my abilities for a 2nd level hero.. understand.
