Orcs day 4

GOR_ARGH_LARK we are the 0rcs but we are here to stay. we seek no wars only games to play. see us here for we are near. dont fight us no need for fuss. little dwarven men. come to us. for we are salvation and we are oblivion

TS
Aidan of the Dwarves, Day 4

These are indeed strange times we live in. Today an orc came to our town bringing us an offer for peace in our time. I was quite wary to say the least. Never trusted an orc further than I could throw him. I refrained from telling the messenger that I could throw orc heads quite far. But... and because of this but I came head to heads with Albrecht and Hjolmor. As long as they keep their ugly noses out of our operations I'd rather concentrate my time on our projects than running of mindlessly to chase some greenskins.
Dark Elves, Day 4

We received an offer of peace from the Humans. Naturally we rejected it out of hand, for no peace treaty can change the nature of Man; voracious, fast-breeding, always grasping for the things that are not theirs. Really, they are glorified goblins.
Elves under Lord Ciaran - Day 5 at River of Life

All is silent in the horizon, no sound of thousand men in mail armor marching, yet not all is well for the Guard Commander. After an ill-slept night, worry had lingered, up to the point where he had decided to take control of the situation. Three messengers were dispatched with secretive scrolls to Elven commanders spread in the wilderness, asking assembly at newly conquered village of Matuli, close by but yet far from Ciaran's ears.

His sworn duty is the his Queen first, and any Lord ready to take up arms against her will needs to be removed from power before the Keepers' cause takes a fall for it. Knowing the nature and strictness of his Lord, strong force and allegiance of the armies is needed for the plot to work. Guard Commander is feeling nervous, yet heroic - a great personal sacrifice for the common good. Example for generations to come and embodiment of the good that Keepers stand for.

P.S. Turn got restarted because my AoW.exe crashed to desktop, sorry about that. No battles were fought on this turn, and movements were the same on both times (as far as I could get before the crash).

Keagh of the orcs, day 5

la-ky-soq dwarves have accepted peace with us. so we are happy. their tiny figure possed little edible meat anyways, to much fat. we eat humans today and find builder guilds already rdy to produce weapons of war. we ran out of elves to eat so these humans were tasty.

Peace with the greenskins. Who would've guessed that it may be that profitable. Two Elven cities afraid of the orcs begged to become our vasalls so they would be protected by the agreement. They even promised hard labour. Ha! As if the Treehuggers were capable of that. No as my great grandmother used to say, always us the right tools for the right job. And few make better scouts than the Knifeears.

The humans definitly not... these fools don't even know what they want. We offer them peace (including some presents) and they decline only to send a peace offering with the same bloody messenger... Curse these Doh'Dorks! But peace is peace.
Dark Elves, Day 5

We sent a peace offer to the Dwarves. There is no end of bad blood between us after Melenis ravaged their halls with earthquakes, but perhaps that will weight on their decision. They cannot know that we have killed many of the great sorcerers that once ruled us for their association with the madness of Inioch reborn.
Elves under Lord Ciaran - Day 6 at River of Life

Already the actions - which to some are just and to others, unjust - of Lord Ciaran are causing equal reactions. Surely upon receiving news and command from United Cities, the Halfling pawn declared war on Lord Ciaran's reign, claiming that he has betrayed his heart and now walks down the path of the Dark Elves towards his destruction. In a way Lord Ciaran is pleased of the news, for if this is to be Keeper's response to his independence, it surely stands as lame one. A distant threat of armies made out of peasants.

Yet not all share Lord Ciaran's vision. While personally escorting the Halfling diplomat out of the town, Guard Commander stopped the diplomat outside the gates. Guard Commander slips something into his hand and whispers: "Not all of us have lost their love for our Queen, friend. Linger in these lands a while longer, I have heard that the sunset is especially beautiful in Matuli, should you decide to stay and look upon it tomorrow with us.". Without further words, Guard Commander turned heel and returned to town, heavy oak gates slowly closing at his wake. Left alone with his pony upon the sands, Halfling diplomat opened his hand and looked at the Ring with Keeper's emblem.

Aidan of the Dwarves, Day 6

Peace with the Orc. Peace with the Humans. And now even Meandors twisted brood is offering us peace. Let them have their peace I say. But double the guards for these elves can't be trusted.

Thankfully we have rid ourselves of the orc dwelling near our mines. I don't think our new greenskin friends will mind as, judging from their marks and dialect, these greenskins belonged to another clan.
Dark Elves, Day 6

We have almost arranged for every Highman to be rooted out from the small hamlet of theirs we took, and for Dark Elf families to replace them - soon we can turn our attentions to greater targets.
Elves under Lord Ciaran - Day 7 at River of Life

Upon receiving the word from distant North that Elves have won the Hockey Championship hosted by the Frostlings, Elven societies across the land have gone into a standstill. The economy comes crashing down as Elves from a cook to a soldier have fallen to heavy consumption of wine and Dwarven draft beer in celebration. Timing of the Orc diplomat offering peace was perfect, more or less. Cheerfully drunken, Ciaran accepts the peace and breaks protocol by inviting the orc King, a sworn-enemy of his kin, to a grand drinking feast in honour of the Elven hockey team. The diplomat himself, is naturally not allowed to leave before consuming a kegful of beer. The Dwarf beer-merchant is as well put under heavy amount of drink, before sent back to fetch more beer to the Elven nation. Cheerfully drunken, he travels with invitation to the Dwarf Lord to join the peaceful but harsh celebrations, where the wine flows and the Nymphs (still) do not have any clothes.

It's a Grand Day to be an Elf!
