Irene, Day 10

I'm a couple turns away from taking a Tower from the All Devourer...

I noticed it's almost GG for All-Devourer.

We are going to poke around Skulkan's territory.

We also noticed the outpost wasn't growing onl ybecause it was migrating, it can in fact become something bigger.
If I realised it sooner I'd convert it to Syron instead.

Giant Eagles fare excessively poorly against pole arms. I remembered that pole arms do more against mounted, but forgot it also applied to flying. Oh well; there's more where that one came from.

I now have an Orc town, which Ariane will stay to ensure becomes an Archon town. Slowly pushing out.

It does indeed look like the All-Devourer will soon become the All-Devoured.

Irene, Day 11

I took a turn at some point. On the road with the laptop open on a train. Tough to remember what I've done, what I have not done, and how many drinks I've had. Gotta love train based travel. :-)

My militia decided suicide was preferable to fighting a single hell hound. I forgot I was going to send my hero to visit a rainbow while meeting up with two more high priests. I also forgot to figure out how to request that Mimo pass me a watch tower. At least it will be several turns before I'll need to cross that bridge.

I've been watching for incoming goons after that last scare.

I can't help but wonder how much the Syrons might want the Shadow Walking spell.

I've decided that my pegasus shall strike out on its own, to explore and nab goodies. My hero shall lead a strike force to see what is at the end of the rainbow, and an eagle shall shadow the hell hound, reclaiming structures.

I learned something new: flyers still have trouble traveling over mountains.

Have you ever tried flying through mountains? It's not easy.

Just chilling down in the basement today.

I think soon I'll be done with this game forever.

-My, oh my. Someone certainly was eager to get a spell from an ally. Good thing I'm a team player, or I'd have charged more than a water mill.

-Got an Order quest already, to conquer the next town I planned to take.

-My holy firing squad was a little underwhelming. Perhaps they'll be a little more accurate when a bunch of level 1 polearms are charging their faces.

Re: Spell - It would have taken me a day to research it. Water Mill and Tower in exchange seemed appropriate, especially since they were on the surface. :)

It's fun watching Vitek wage war. Except when you're his ally and then you painfully watch him lose troops.... Somebody needs to teach him the concept of overpowering the enemy. Much less loss of life then.

The tower was almost certainly coming to me anyway, since I need to get over that bridge. Anyway, the water mill will eventually pay off. You are a little lucky that I had the mana to actually send the thing.

I'd been thinking about asking if we want to just swarm Skulkan with summons for the lulz, but I don't have the mana to quite support that right now.

He was doing alright, until his troops stopped rolling well.

If I have bigger force and every unit I have is either equal or better than enemy I expect a bit better result. (as I don't expect losing 6 trolls to 4 trolls, tell me what mistake I did there)
It's hard when your healthy cavalry attacks enemy 2 HP cavalry, hits and stillis the one to die.
