I was thinking about unit abilities this morning, and another question occurred to me: what happens if a wizard gets hit by Drain Will (removing Willpower) and then by some sort of Dominate type skill (changing sides)?

Wow, now there's a hypothetical.

My guess is that it would never work. Yes, I know it sounds feasible, but in reality it won't. :)

I figure the wizard's innate willpower can't be removed. But it was certainly an interesting thought when I realized "Nekros is in the perfect position to do it to me, assuming it is possible."

I mentally rabbit trailed on how that might work: does he force me to ally and break my previous alliances (at which point we'd still get stomped in a 2v2 (unless you guys let me back in)), or does he slide into our alliance (and we have a 4 way win, which would be really clever on his part)?
Wow. My wizard crossed the bridge alone and EVERYTHING ran back into his capital. Suicided her into the horde in hopes she'll respawn back at the other city.

Also, necromancers are some BS. One of them walked clear across his city in order to get a shot, and it got all 3 shots instead of just one.

On the first turn of combat defending a building (town or tower), you get to move units around on the walls to place them where you want at zero move cost...

I mean, they are BS for other reasons, but not for that one. :)

So they have infinite movement on their first turn, as long as they stay in the walls? I wonder why one of them declined to shoot, then.

Mimo: If you attack that stack, the one adjacent to it will help defend, but the third stack will be excluded from the battle. This is the sort of screw up the AI does all the time.
Not just the AI

Burn!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahaha. Good thing you're still not pissed about that...
Restart was because I managed to break the wrapper somehow. I could see Mimo's turn (and take it, though I don't know if it would have sent). The game save kept being marked as "Sent".

I deleted the existing save and redownloaded, then redid my 2-3 actions. Ariane didn't respawn back at my capital site, dang it. Summoning eagles to steal the furnace and power node while Ariane makes the trek back home.
Oh for goodness sake, 2/3rds of the Nekron troops are out of his castle. Can you reach them?

Don't wait five turns for freaking Ariana to walk back to her "preferred tower" for a stinking 10 spell points...

If you can't reach them, I'll try and kill them so the enemy tower is less defended. :)
They weren't a moment ago. I'll see if I can reach them. Ariane can keep casting while walking; unicorns and eagles aren't going to cut it against the hordes of necromancers.
Huh, I built leprechaun last turn and didn't even noticed. Even more shameful considering I was examining that city closely last turn.

It would be hillarious if wizard could get dominated.
I could get 7 units in position, if I really stretched. Wouldn't be nearly enough when I'd be up against 5 necromancers, 4 succubi, 3 spiders, 2 heroes, and a freaking partridge in a pear tree.
Odd. I keep getting "AUTHENTICATE failed." messages when I ask the wrapper to poll now.

Any ideas?
Downloaded the game manually, took my turn, and it looks like it sent the file after I finished. Still getting that error about authenticating, though.
