Bookwyrm627: One question that Southern (and I) had was "Why is Mimo using so many T1 units?", and I found the answer was "His towns don't make anything better." There were a lot of really bad towns in this map, which also meant that building things like a Barracks was a huge crap-shoot, since you didn't know if you were blowing more than 80 gold to find out whether a given town sucked.
Both of my "empires" were severely limited by really bad villages / towns. An army of Level 1 units gets tough to utilize rather quickly. :)

Bookwyrm627: Also, I was very, very surprised by just how much treasure was laying around uncollected by the Goblins. I gather the dwarves didn't have time to start collecting it before war started coming for them, but I don't know what the Goblin excuse was.
The Goblins were greedy, as usual, and attacked the poor Dwarves instead.
Really, there should've been an in-engine display of city build limits, and failing that a signpost placed by the mapmaker next to each town detailing the limits.

This is what I kept wishing for, though I suppose it can also tell an enemy what they can expect and what they might not need to worry about from a town.

Come to think of it, you could make a looping message trigger that shows when the town is captured. But then you'd have to remember it for a time.
