Always good to start your first turn and see that you lost three heroes on the previous turn. Bully!

Not sure what to do against the flood of reds pouring forwards, fight or flight?

Ah, my bet went well, the halfling could not reply to a sudden thrust. Aha, there's a nymph close to some goblins... That's well worth some sacrificial tokens. These orcs aren't the brightest in the bunch but they have a knack for gathering all the animals of the lands, we're moving around with a veritable zoo I tell you. The smell is foul, let's send some to the slaughter... They won't be seduced at least!

Well well the goblins even had some kobold friends! The nymph is a goner, and that's good, if I remember one of the halfling heroes had an item of drain will. Now that the odds are equal let's be prudent. I bet that the dwarves have a seducer too. Work for the dark elves!

Sorry, but you know how halflings reproduce. Rabbits pale in comparison. It's either early culling or soon horde. Some coincidence with the game needing a sub... Hah, starting with an item of drain will and a nymph... Lately maps are showing quite some good guys bias and privilege ;-)

In my neck of the woods, we're still walking around in training diapers. Thank goodness no Dark Elves are bearing down on us...

Dark Elves, Day 9

Ah yes, this was the one where I tarried on migrating my cities, leading to all my troops hating and deserting me. Prior to me requesting a restart of several turns lol....

I've really just evened the odds. The nymph had already granted two additional heroes, a goblin and a frostling from the berserking neutrals that attack each faction at the start - I guess we all had some, those that gave Southern his troubles. And who knows what else. I don't know the dark elves but this bad guy doesn't start with any seducer. That's the map bias I'm talking about, especially when you think that it was designed before MPE so orcs and drow can't even get that in time. And wow, giving halflings an item of will drain is just adding the cherry on top :D

We talked about ways to combat DSTR, right? Isn't an early push the only way? I think that it is. Doesn't make for a great game for the elves once players realise that the only way to deal with them is early aggression forgetting everything else... Yes i still have one of the marauders marauding ;-(

Now that the halfling menace is somewhat delayed - it's well known that a single breeding pair can explode in but a matter of days - let's see if I can progress a bit in the matter of leaving this accursed place.

In the Orc defense, halflings peasants for only 10 gold apiece is a bit ridiculous. Especially with the power of pole arms. :)
