Arnuz is Orcs, Mimo is Dwarves, Jamesede is Dark Elves, I am Halflings, and we're using Ibobs' edit of Rheno's Prison Break map.
Lulz. Is this the same Prison Break that we played some time back?

If so, a warning for Arnuz and Jamesede: the dragon whelps are important.

Yes. I consider it a classic map!
Castor Ulrin, day 1

Who is the fool that dares try imprison Flame! I shall burn you and all your followers!

... But for now let's get out of here. An elemental! That will serve me well. A hero, Greenmoster, is imprisoned close by...I start gathering the forces around me and we assault some dwarves to make way.

----------

Southern you called the game drums of death ^_^'

Book - are the dragon whelps important as units, or even as event keys?

wtf? I am restarting the game sorry as it's now not showing up in my wrapper because of the duplicate name
the dragon hatclings grow into full dragons at gold medal.
Oops. TS

James - Don't play your turn. Delete. :)

Or better yet, play your turn 37 times to optimize it and then delete it.

Units. Southern ultimately rolled Jyri with a number of dragons while I tried my best to make Mimo's vicious beating of me as pyrrhic as possible. The halflings left quite a bit of smoke and ruin on their way out, though they were still effectively (if not technically) the first ones defeated.
I wondered how Drums of Death got going so quick. Ok I'll delete that one and wait for a file called Prison Break.
Kastor Ulrin, day 1

Haven't I lived this day already? Are we a dream that dream itself?

Wait, no, there's something different - the last time I was not this broke. I hope the units won't leave me now...

I must have found less gold this time, so I end up at 39/-40... Let's see what happens.
Dwarves, Day 1

Always problematic when guards of two different things are sitting adjacent to each other. For some reason, they did not come to each other's defense. For that we are happy.

Wounds were taken, lives were lost, but we are free from the chains of servitude. Wonder what we'll do next?

ooc: My email wrapper said I received two files, but there was only one in the inbox. Strange. Never seen it do that before. I blame Gnomes.
Dark Elves, Day 1

Well, I died, so had to restart. The prison guard hero dominated my Shade using trap and from there the first battle was all downhill.

Shadowland movement speed is really something!

Yeah, that was a strange skill to give the prison guard. Thematically correct, but if it hits and your friend switches sides, there is nothing you can do. Heck, even if he just sits in a net for two turns not retaliating against attacks you're pretty screwed. :)

And again, I am blown away at the power of Block 5 which every Level 1 swordsman now has via MPE. There is no reason to ever shoot an arrow at them!
Just attack the hero first? It's the primary target anyway as he has higher attack and damage and lower defence post-block...

Hero on the wall has enough move to get a single Trap attempt on your front line strong unit before you take a turn... And the peons start attacking on Turn 2 to use up your actions if the Trap nets a big fish. Sometimes poop happens in the land of RNG, that's why we play the game.

I believe the fire elemental you started with is immune to Trap so you didn't have that single turn of fear the rest of us had. :)

Funny, I'm pretty sure my opponent didn't reach me on turn one. I remember because I looked at it, saw trap and went uh-oh. Yes if it attacks on turn 1 it's bad.
