Senteria: I think it is truly unfair how African people have to pay a lot more than people from switzerland. I rest my case with this.
Gandos: What puzzles me is the discrepancy between African countries. I admit, I'm not extremely familiar with the economic state of Africa, but I seriously doubt all of those countries are significantly richer than Egypt. The differences between Asian countries are even more hilarious; why Taiwan and Thailand are being charged more than China and Japan is beyond me. The fact that Australia and New Zealand are getting US prices, though, is a rather pleasant surprise.
I don't know, the way these prices are arranged makes it seem like the publisher had a certain number of darts with "US price" written on it and had someone randomly throw them at a world map.
My guess would be that it's all about how interested the publishers are in the according markets of those countries. Staying competitive on the markets in Russia, Poland, China, Japan seems of greater priority to them than offering fair prices for Taiwan, Thailand, Ghana or Slovenia, so I think in the latter cases it's really more of an "whatever, we're not that interested in your money away, so just take it or leave it".
