ooc: Yeah, the neutrals getting sucked into the fight is kind of weird. I sucked a bunch of Dwarven units into battles the previous turn and didn't really mean to. I'd rather have just fought the Human unicorn and not the Dwarven gargoyles! They cost me my double ballista!

Things I wish I could've done differently:
* Not throw all units we've recruited from recruitment site just to grab a power node and a village (saw nothing else to do with them).
* Not lose a hero early.
* Not walk on ice with my best units. Apparently, the ice can break mysteriously.

This was a difficult map, Independents were quite strong, so it was very difficult to scout and know where to go. If I knew there was a tower in the middle (I was so close), I would've gone there immediately.

ooc: PotatoHead - Yes, it was a relatively hard map. But I think what made it hard was a central underground area that was difficult to hold. It was a mini-battle arena area. And once a player put units in there, other players were free to attack only when they chose to. So the second Vitek pulled defenders away the first Tower taken, then I pounced with no warning.

I was force into the void but had a second tower to retreat to. Unfortunately I have no troops to speak of so my escape won;t be for long.

I should have declared war much earlier in the game when I some decent units. I managed to lose them in fights that went badly against independents though.

Re: Boldir and War - Yes, you should have declared War on my at least 10 turns sooner so that you and PotatoHead could hit me from two fronts at the same time.

I picked up a Dwarven Steam Tank very early in the game and it worked very well for my adventures in the underground. It gave me cave crawling and put my best hero in the front row during combat. It also developed Level 4 of leadership quickly and took out all walls during sieges. A well spent 320 gold. :)

My god, Mimo seems unstoppable at every map. I remember the good old days when he took a beating now and then :)
