Elves, Day 67

Only on small group of Goblins is left in my territory and they won't last long. The rest have gone into hiding.

Guys, I think it is time for me to resign - I have only about 6 units left. I could make you chase me all over the map, but this would be boring for you. So here we go, the results are attached.

Wow. I won my first PBEM game. I am very happy about it.
So I guess I did pretty okay on my first PBEM game seeing as my winning rate skyrocketed in the end. I think the tide shifted when I put all my money into units and upgraded pretty well.
Dave had nothing to fear as he thought he had us in the bag so he concentrated on getting rid of the elves first. Though I was capable of sending reinforcements that way. With the allowed time to regroup and A LOT of ship transport (I had about 3 or 4 ships sending troops constantly) I think we turned the tide. Also a big applause on Greyhuntr on getting the elves' act together and building a big army. His army built faster than I thought it would.

Great game guys. That was a really tough one. When I took over, the Elves were squandering money on useless research and upgrades all over the place. Once I got my affairs in order I went of the offensive with terrible results. If the Goblins had come at me full strength after wiping out my first army they could have easily conquered me. Fortunately for me, the enemy was cautious and the Halflings were able to send me some spare gold, so I rebuilt my forces quickly. Great job on keeping up the pressure Senteria, your plans worked out very well. Thanks for the match Davespice, it had me on the edge of my seat.

I had completely forgotten about the money I kept donating to you. In the end, if I had not put my mana all in researching spells for no reason, I could've burned dave's goblins out completely. I also happened to be at the right time in the caves to take over the big town. It built another front and another diversion. It was a close call with the fire altar as well. I was able to heal most of my troops after the fire attack on them with my unicorns.
