Humans, Day 37

No city for you, miss Valkyrie. Shame on you for trying to loot innocent orcs. We owe Orcs protection in this world and we won't buckle.
We also cheer for dark elven folks who liberated themselves from the clutches of azracs.
On the other hand we curse the red dragon who managed to slaughter a lot of our friends.
What amused us this turn is level 11 lizard hero whose attack and defense values are both 3.
That's well built hero.

You need to work really hard if you intend to ever catch up with the rest of us.
Whose to say he hasn't already surpassed us, since he hasn't been pissing away resources on casualties. I may not be able to play my turns for a few days as I am out of town.

Highmen, Day 37

Today was not a great day for us. The Humans and Dwarves have been picking off our scouts and shooting our beautiful Valkyries out of the sky left and right.

Dwarves, day 38

Our Astra showed the highmen whose side faith is on. She exterminated another valkyrie of them after they cowardlessly took over a human town. Meanwhile we finally found the elves. We said hi to them but all we heard was: GRmbl we're jealous of you, WAR!

Well, can't blame those supposedly smart elves. Always blind in their hatred against dwarvenkind. It's a shame. Oh well. we couldn't care less.

Meanwhile the highmen are gathering up a substantial force. Thus our troops have retreated.

Tension between the halflings and dwarves are rising. We seek no quarrel but disbandoning our archer out of the blue is just not kind. Besides he was almost back to our border after a long walk. Highmen are very religious and we can't excommunicate him just like that. it would break his heart.

Humans, Day 38

Another valkyrie died while trying to conquer our city together with substantial army. My paladins repelled them and showed them that they certainly don't want to join opressive highmen rule. Elsewhere our scouts died to highmen ambush party but managed to take the strongest ones with them.
We still feel quite lost but at least we amassed a force of our own, with some purpose, instead of just having inherited armies wandering around with no direction.

Halflings, Day 38

We mowed our lawns today in the Shire. Goats aren't keeping up with the Spring rains. We've sold too many to feed the dogs of war apparently.

Restart: Finally installed this game on my laptop. Family has hijacked the desktop too often of late...

Highmen, Day 38

The Dwarves have said some very hurtful things to us today. In honor of our sacred holiday we shall not speak ill of our enemies. We shall however, kill them.

Despite the highmen feeling very insulted by our message, he still shares his secrets and plans with the dwarves. We believe this was on accident and while I did not try to read it, I was under the impression it was an old message coming way too late into my mailbox, but it was a new message. So I read it, and I think it's a blunder, but those happen in the games. I mean I did not check your kingdom when you accidentially sent the wrong turn and I swear I never looked at it. I play fair. However, of course I have an ally and messages sent to the wrong person, it's not really smart to do. Just saying.
I need to stop playing my turns when I get home from work. I am just way too tired and distracted. Oh well, chalk it up to fog of war.

We're laughing with you, not at you. :-)
Dwarves, day 39

We have slain the lizard leader. He was begging for an angel to take him to heaven as he saw tons of lizard folk being forced to leave their hometown by the slave trade embracing Highmen. They put human folk into the lizard capital. So yeah the lizard leader's wish ot fulfilled. Meanwhile we lost another 5 units to the 4 hex azrac town. Curse that dragon.
