Hello,

is it somehow possible to import the campaign files from AoE2:WT to AoW2:SM? I only own Shadow Magic and I guess besides the campaign there is probably not so much difference between the two games. So is it somehow possible to play the Wizard's Throne campain in Shadow Magic?
I mean in SM there is an option to start a custom campaign so shouldnt that be possible given that you have the campain and map files of WT?

I imagine it is possible, though I haven't done it.

There are some pretty wide ranging unit differences between WT and the primary patch of SM, though. For example, Halfling Rogues don't have Swimming in WT. It was quite the experience trying to do WT when I was used to SM rules.

I don't think it's possible. I tried a couple of years ago and was unsuccessful, but check the HeavenGames forums for more info.

On a related note, there is a full redo of the AoW:1 campaign into the AoW2:SM format that you can play in the downloads section of HeavenGames. I played the first couple of scenarios before losing interest. :)
