Running Windows 7 Pro 64bit. Standard install with admin account. Fully updated OS.

Game suffers from very bad sound crackling. Strangely the problem subsides when the game is backgrounded via alt+tab (as I write this for instance). Problems resurface when the game is brought back to focus.

Any advice?

Try turning directsound off in options (or turn it on if it's off already)

I have this problem too!

Win7 64bit as well, admin, updates, etc.

Did you ever find a solution reaper?

Yeah I did but I forgot what it was and got a new rig since then. I promise I will reinstall and try to refigureout this bug for ya.

Gonna need to get the same problem though. Will post edit if I get the solution.
