I got the idea when someone was complaining about how the game is making so many writing processes on their SSD. Knowing that same issue from other games in the past, specifically thinking of games like Civilization, Planetfall, Humankind and alike, I remembered that it is a rather old issue, with an old workaround.

Turned out to be super effective and it indeed helped to boost up the write and load steps at turn finalisations - an intense lag which tend to appear when you are playing much longer than the intended 150 turns.

I guess not everyone is equally affected, depending on their gaming rig, but those who are inexperienced with such games are more tempted to have larger maps with more rulers, which might work at first, but turn into sort of hell on their PC in late game... And putting that load from your storage drive to your RAM drive can be considered a health measure for your SSD.

Yeah. But with Steam forums it feels like most people want large massive maps with at least 12 rulers, so ... I mean if they know their PC could handle it...
