Elves, Day 5

We rejoice at the telegram regarding the poor playing by the Goblins. Centuries of experience they may have, but still they are short, ugly, and small brained.

We met the Frostlings. On our terms. And they learned a lesson about diplomacy, though a relatively cheap one.

I'll decline, though I appreciate the offer. I knew it might happen, and I had ample opportunity to reconsider, but I moved forward anyway. Sometimes greed just needs to be punished.

Gobbos, Day 6

The remaining indy witch seems to have a thing for hunting my units. We send out a butcher to meet her.

"Your Thinness, I must report that goblins have stolen the tower which our cavalry was at one step from"... The messenger is turned into a frozen statue instantly.
A second one reports a similar deed by the elves, but also brings some good news: our ice drake rider has sent mana! And even a research catalyst! Right from before the elven noses long and sniffy noses. He survives for now...

Elves, Day 6

As always, we glide through our lives with nary a care what the short lived folk say to us. We are the 700 year old trees, not the swaying grass but one season constantly turning with every casual wind.

We receive an odd proposal from the Frostlings, and we send them our counter offer.

We also cut down a very impudent 700 year old tree. Nasty things, only good for fire wood to cook meat.

We decide to accept the pleas for peace of the elven gits. Stupid two legs too tall for blood to properly reach their brains anyway.

We also decide to embark on an experiment.

If I had the accuracy and damage rolls of my opponents, then I'd be unstoppable.

If we hadn't suffered attacks from independents we'd still be stoppable but we'd at least still have stuff to stop

I thought it mere hyperbole, but apparently the Frostlings have literally been everywhere on the map with their flying scouts.
