Frosty, Day 37

Every tunnel we enter has webs immediately upon entry. Not a big fan of that. I mean, I get it, it's dark and spooky. But dammit, I'd like to use a bit more of my move points each day.

Guess it could be worse, I could be a Dwarf, Goblin, or not living. Me, I prefer sunshine! But not enough to melt the polar caps or anything.

Goblin, Day 37

If you hate caves, stay out of them - easy. Some of us don't have that luxury.

"I hate walking in webs" say the birds that are everywhere. :P

I like annoying rules only when applied to others. :)

Those birds are merely a figment of your imagination. Like carrier pigeons and the dodo, they don't really exist.

And crossbows just became a huge fashion statement in dwarven lands, too. Guess I'll just have to wait for all the bats to show up.
If they are going to be just fashion statements then those birdies don't have much to fear. ;-)

We chose our own approach and our top men are working on inventing a new kind of web.
Unlike those usual horizontal ones currently weaved by all spiders in this world, this one will be vertical, reaching up to the caves ceiling so those pesky birds don't fly over it.
I know it's radical thinking but in the past they said the same about airborne strangling and see how common is that nowadays.

Considering the accuracy and targeting choices made by some ex-owners, the birds will be just fine.

One thing we've all hopefully learned... Birds are definitely above Frogs in the pecking order. Southern has been licked by that knowledge a few times too.
Not Orc, Day 38

If enemy gives you titan, squeeze him.
I'd really like to double my gold so I have at least 2 coins.

Dwarves, Day Whatever

I see another pain in the butt is approaching.

TS
Orcs, Day 38

My bats made an incredibly poor showing against a stack of dwarven crossbowmen. I need better bats.

Frosty, Day 38

Seriously? Three straight hexes of spider freaking webs. Not all my units have bloody damn wings!

Giving up on my second quest in a row. Really wish the Gods would give me doable missions. Rebuilding a town on the other side of the map that isn't even reachable in 10 days does not qualify.

Forgot to ask: what was that recent restart about? I think it was humans?
Not Frostling, Day 39

One of you made me mighty unhappy.
