I had an install previously that allowed me to zoom in while playing Shadow Magic so I could play in my native resolution but be closer to the actual map. But I can't for the life of me figure out what mod/tool gave me that ability. I've tried the UP and MP Evolution and neither has added it.

Anyone have any ideas what I may have used previously?
I didn't even know you could zoom in or out. Have you tried altering the resolution chosen in the AOWSetup program?

When I switched from the GOG download and install version of AoW:SM to the GOG Galaxy version of AoW:SM, I too lost the zoom functionality. I've updated with the 1.4 user patch and it did not restore the function.

However, if you click on the Settings for AoW:SM in your start menu (within the GOG folder, not Games folder - Pic attached) and activate Direct3D, the zoom function is restored. Now I can scroll with my mouse wheel and zoom in and out of the game just like I remember. Still have to hit F4 to turn on the grid though every time I load up the game...

When I enable it, I can zoom again, but the problem is that the minimap gets corrupted image and becomes unusable.
I guess it's that big of a deal, but still sucks.
