Hi everyone,
I have just purchased AOW Planetfall and I am having a blast with it. I am just wondering about the OST that comes with the Deluxe and Premium editions of the game: how is it in MP3 format and yet it occupies almost 1 GB? Isn't FLAC a more viable option if the encoder is set with a humungous bitrate target?

One funny thing I've noticed is that Windows takes literal ages to read all the files metadata when I open the folder in File Explorer. Does this happen to any of you as well?

I have the same problem with the OST. The folder takes minutes to open, and it takes a long time to start playing a file as well.

I am not even sure to whom we should speak to, as I don't think it is a strictly GOG-related issue, but it has more to do with Triumph & Paradox. However I believe we should open a ticket to GOG as it's a file that they have made available to us.

One little trick that is helping me going around this issue right now is to access the .zip file straight from VLC or XMPlay... they will recognise the files inside and make them available in the player's playlist. This is no permanent solution however, as not many players allow for this.

Nice, I didn't know about this. Works much better than extracting the zip file.

The OST? If you have the deluxe or premium edition of AoW Planetfall, you can find it in the game's downloads page (right column).
