Bethezer: A bit late... but I assume now their forces have to find their bodies? Evil campaign now? :D
Yep! Meandor was the most amusing of the lot. He felt it necessary for him to run out solo and attempt to take back a mine or something from an elf ranger I had out wandering around. He exposed his position, and the ranger very nearly did him in for his trouble. My hero force came through a turn or two later to finish the job.

I'm currently involved in putting down a goblin rebellion.

Fire and Earth pair very well together, and Air and Water also pair well together. The first nets you some serious combat buffs, while the second gives massive travel benefits.
Liquid form and chain lighting aren't too shabby in combat either. Earth's free movement is good, and fire halo lets you walk on lava as well.

Fire halo lets you move on lava? Interesting.

Any form of Fire Immunity does so. Certainly one of my favourite fun facts

And what is much, much, much more fun is that dispelling the magic on a unit, wizard, or hero walking on water (liquid form) or lava (fire halo) causes said unit to perish. Or at least that is the case in AoW:2. It is a truly evil thing to do, so naturally I enjoy it.

I'm still amazed that the AI once did that to me.

Works with AoW 1 too.

Oops shouldn't have told you that.

Saw you were a seducing machine in the last PBEM. :-)

When are you going to finally start playing SM with us?

When you guys are considering aow 1 again, maybe I'll give it another thought.
Nice try. :-)
OK, if you are going to give it another thought I am going to give another thought to AoW game.

Aaaand... done.

Not for later instalments, Senteria?

I played later installments a bit, but I just can't get into them somehow. AoW 1 is just a master piece.

I can understand that. One of the reasons I really like AoW3 is because it combines things from both first oe and second game. ^.^
