Cult of Storms, Day 42

We may or may not have pressed end turn before remembering to do a certain diplomatic action. Oops
Orcs, Day 43

Onward march the Orcs. Into battle, into death, into the Orcish halls of Valhalla.

It matters not because more Orcs shall be born to fill our ranks.

TS
Dwarves, Day 43

Now new hero joins us? And in the most remote part of our realm. And he is not as preety as Kitty Cat.
Not what we needed.

Turn sent.

I had heard there was a custom of declaring war, then waiting a turn before attacking. I thought this was part of the PBEM rules of etiquette. Is this not a rule that's actually used?

It would have made little difference in this case, but I want to know before I play my Prison Break turn ;)
I went jerky semantics on you in Marlene. No relationship is the same as war according to the etiquette rules. But you probably didn't know that. I apologize.

Feel free to launch an assault on this map on the turn you declare war as a bit of retribution. I don't mind. I'd rather keep you playing than have you mad at me for being a jerk!

Not only is your position entirely correct - we weren't at peace, which I'd missed - but it made no difference, and I wasn't wholly sure the rule was a good one anyway.

The only issue is me not understanding the rules.

Sorry for the delay - I arrived back at university
Cult of Storms, Day 43

We finally declared war at the most cowardly possible juncture, and after scouting our lands with Succubi.

By now Mimo has probably sold all the western infrastructure.

The two of you are both getting way to paranoid with your true seeing units. It's almost like you expect me to have concealed units everywhere on the map. By now you should know, I only have them in 85% of the map!

I must admit that the use of concealed units is truly the main difference between playing people and the computer. It is what makes this game fun. Or super frustrating when you're on the receiving end of a concealed surprise attack. ;-)
Orcs, Day 44

I've released hounds to hunt down my enemy. We shall see how long it takes to corner him soon.

In other news, a flood of purple washes across the land. It's like the dreams of 12 year old girls coming true.

TS
Dwarves, Day 44

Looks like I am done for.
We are taking last few remainign actions we have available to make orcish life a bit more troublesome.

Turn sent.
Dark Elves, Day 44

Well, I hope I have prepared enough!
Orcs, Day 45

Purple washes over the beaches, up into the grass, over the walls, and right into my buildings. Oh well, easy come, easy go. Sucks to lose all those converted Halfling villages and towns. Especially since the Dark Elves are fellow lovers of evil. At least when I take them back, it will require less work to make the people love me.

TS

ooc: Hahahahahaha. The Dwarves are razing Dwarven towns. I sure hope that doesn't upset the common people too much. I do believe Southern can speak to that matter. ;-)
Dwarves, Day 45

To make this more kid friendly: Those stupid flying sons of bitches can suck my dick.

Well, since everyone is at war with me, I'll assume this is a good comment.

Particularly funny since there is only place that flying SOBs can hob knob and it's a stack that would have surrendered had I used it to attack.

ooc: We really need to remember to turn surrender off on all the maps when we play PBEM. I honestly thought my stack would kill you three or four turns ago. It's why I attacked. Couldn't believe it when my 7 units freaking surrendered.

It's not a laughing matter!

Dark Elves, Day 45

We've made some nice acquisitions in the north, but it's questionable how relevant this is.
