Vitek: And the hero?
He has (had) resurgence item too, when you watch the battle he clearly resurges and is standing at the end of the battle but is nowhere to be found?
I didn't watch the battle, just saw the results... Ack, I'd be pissed too. Resurgence works sometimes, other times it does not. Definitely one of the sketchier abilities.

If it makes you feel any better, he wouldn't have survived the next day anyway. Orc forces are too numerous to count and come in wave after wave after wave. Plus, he would have been unable to fight any future battles due to the encumbrance rules and his carrying of 78 pieces of armor, weaponry, and jewelry. :)

Well, you can boast however you want but I think unit with 17/15/20, 26HP and almost any possible skill would made tremendeous difference. ;-)
But I know long enough the game doesn't like me and I doesn't like it in return so... w/e.
Gotta to finally play it, but it made me not really care that much anymore.
Dwarves, Some Day

I spent all my mana to salvage at least some items but the game was kind enought to not burden me with choice and didn't allow me to scroll among them so I had always only pick from items on initial screen.
We recaptured some things we lost but our losses were a bit bigger than we wanted.
Elsewhere we laugh at pitiful group of units our enemy calls invasion force.

Turn sent.

Ack, not trying to make you depressed and uncaring! Stay engaged...

Edit: All my heroes with super high numbers are also deceased now too. I think I've lost seven heroes in the past two turns.

But all of them were supposed to die. I bet you wouldn't be amused too if ie. your Swolte(?) hero survived teh abttle but the game decided he is too usefull and killed him.
But luckily the game tried to appease me by not making able to pick items I wanted and you were fast to help with my favourite mechanics in this game of taking my structures made of gold (the most logical explanation), turning them back to coins and running away with them in 1 turn. I always loved this feature and it is sure way to make me ecstatic. ;-)

You've known for a long time that the folks at Triumph studio programmed the game to spite you. Plus, I put a special dice rolling virus on your computer a year ago to make sure things always went my way. Anyway, what good is a Great Garden if you can't sell some tomatoes to make a little coinage.
Well, now it looks like I can act like a real Wizard instead of sitting at home crying over certain misfortunes earlier on.
Cult of Storms, Day 40

Unfortunately we didn't see any of these large battles between Dwarf and Orc. I actually didn't send out scouts, how foolish.

So for now, I am still plagued by fears of that stealthy Orcish force creeping around somewhere. It *is* probably dead, but...

Orcs, Day 41

Rage quit the game. If I'm attacking, why the &%#%$ would my units surrender? Did the CPU not look at the number of health points of the units I am attacking? They are easy $&^%*$ pickings!!!!

I'll be back. Got a lot of stuff to do today though...
I don't believe it. This flawless game would never do anything like it.
It treats everyone fair and with respect and never screws with people over.
Day 41, Orcs

Continued...

Not much to report after the prior aborted turn. Lots of movement, nothing of consequence done. Caravans are cool, except when you're trying to defend one with inadequate defenses.

I have a hero very encumbered with gear. Shocked at how much gear made it to the bad guys though. How much mana did that cost?

TS
Dwarves, Day 42

Ooops, I for some reason didn't send the turn yesterday even though I played 95% of turn.
We dispatched the shaman army, retook our southern holdings, hesitated on many fronts and spent all my money.

Something over 1000 mana.

Turn sent.
Cult of Storms, Day 41

The most disturbing thing I've seen in a game of aow2 (not this match) is a possessed Leprechaun. That red background on the icon, you see. And the giggling!

Orcs, Day 42

1,000 mana wasted as far as I can tell.

Dwarves have legs too short to out run Orcs, movie Dwarves excluded.

We make gains in some places to offset losses in others.

TS
Dwarves, Day 42

I wouldn't say it was wasted. It helped me to destroy the shaman army and it is not like needed it anyway. I am back to 500 again.
I see to be unable to keep my airships alive.

Turn sent.

The same restart as in the Marlene here. Beats me why.
