Orcs, next day

Uh oh. A serious tactical blunder. Our surrounding stacks did not support us on the stairway. Oops.

More coming shortly...

And another blunder in attacking the super javelin tossing airship. Holy crap, that guy doesn't miss. Wish my pistol wielding humans had similar aiming ability.

At least in the inconsequential southernmost border, I am not embarrassing myself. Not sure what to do now though. My short term plans have fallen apart and I need to come up with a different plan for all these resource sucking units.

Sorry, but if you don't want to have the whole buildup in this map ruined by my twitchy then I am restarting. :-/
I was counting movements and in my stupidity I did it with one of my most important swauds and I sent them without doing anything in the middle of enemy territory where they would be uselels and most likely simply killed, making me much less able to properly do anything and ruining any fun for anyone.

I am terribly sorry, I know this is ruining it too, but I find it better if we get to play properly than to ruin the challenge by dumb misclicking. :-(

What was the prior turn's restart for? Two restarts in a row during the first two turns of massive battles...

It's a good thing I'm a trusting soul and like you.

Attacking with shooters is always a foolhardy enterprise. But sometimes one must send the cannon fodder in to do cannon fodder things.

Dwarves, Day 39

Many poor decisions were made and I fear where they will take us. At least the airship is gone, though.
Also, our dumb blunder was corrected.

Turn sent.

Once again I am sorry. :-/
(I only did one small battle before that restart and that went exactly the same way as before so there was no other advantage, promise. But of course, I realise it hurts teh trust. :-/)

When i spoke about playing with editor few turns back I was experimenting how fights on cave entrances work to be prepared for any oportunity. :-)
What I figured out among other things was that if you attack stack standing upstair from below and you have other stacks upstair right next to the opponent's stack the game will tell you tehy will take part in the battle but actually they won't.

All good. :-)
Cult of Storms, Day 39

Fun fact: Succubi don't get any points of Vision, not even with medals.

I'm losing 12-20 units per turn to Vitek's naked aggression and that's what you bring to the table? Fun facts? You're dead to me too. All of you are dead to me!!!

This Orc is getting very angry. Even greener than usual with anger. Downright HULK like angry.

Vitek is clearly doing you a favor. Anyone that dies to HIM clearly didn't deserve to live!

(Lemme know if I cross a line here, Vitek)

Vítek's aggression? I killed 4 of yours units last turn and you lost some 10 more because you attacked me and the attack failed. Meanwhile you took my town, while I didn't even leave my territory. How is that aggression?! Don't believe him, people, it's all evil propaganda.

I am so looking forward to playing with you, filthy scum. :-p
Remember who actually won the last map we finsihed. ;-)

Angry Orcs, Day 40

Do you know what Angry Orcs do?

We smash. We attack. We never wait for reinforcements. Waiting is not in the Orc vocabulary.

CHARGE!!!

Into the valley of death rode the few, the proud, the Orcs.

Mission accomplished. The cost was high, but well worth it.

OK, so what the hell happened to my hero and why is he not alive?
I am not amused, game.
Also, I wondered about it and this turn proved it. Resurgence on wizard is useless.
avatar
Vitek: Resurgence on wizard is useless.
I didn't even notice that he was wearing the "Halfling Ring" when I attacked. I decided that the negative of physical weakness outweighed the positive of resurgence earlier... The Wizard has their own, in-built respawn which must take precedence.

Have fun down in those dark and lonely tunnels. Don't let the sound of Orcs approaching scare you too much.
And the hero?
He has (had) resurgence item too, when you watch the battle he clearly resurges and is standing at the end of the battle but is nowhere to be found?
It is my strongest hero and having him alive could very well change the outcome of this whole map so I am understandably unhappy about it.
Sorry for not playing it yet, btw. It angered me when Is aw this so I went to post here and then went to play something else and I completely forgot about this. :-)
