Nomaden, Tag 11

Bah, my leader is too good.
He killed so many of enemy units in the last fight that it left me really disappointed.
At least it made me richer.

Turn sent.
Dwarves, Day 11

The Icedrake is put down and our tower restored. I shall have to decide whether to raise a melee force to storm the rival dwarven town, or catapults to burn them out.
Tigrans, Day 11

Oh crap. Double crap. There was a warning sign in German. Figured out what it said after the fact: "Don't go here. If you do, Dragons will be summoned to raid your lands. A stack of Red, Black, and Hatchlings. Good luck dying to them."

I moved my units next to a tower full of indie shooters of my own race. Hopefully this saves me from instant death...

Nomaden, Tag 12

Our leader persihed at night but it was good thing as our hero then got all kills and it allowed him to get nifty skill.

Dwarves, Day 12

Now an entire army of Frostlings comes into our domain. Our Stoneskin Runemaster along with a few boars and boar riders will suffice against them.
Tigrans, Day 12

Wow. I cannot believe I'm still alive. My strategy of standing next to a tower with six Tigran shredders worked perfect. Probably giving away too much, but I have to share...

I had my Wizard, my hero, four shooters, and two melee units. We stood next to a Tower with the aforementioned six shooters. We were attacked by a Red Dragon, a Black Dragon, and six Dragon Hatchlings. I lost all four of my shooters and the tower lost four shooters as well, but we survived! Well, my Wizard died, but who cares about that. :)

My hero successfully used Strangle the first four turns in a row on one of the bad ass Dragons who was then attacked by my melee units. Never had Strangle work quite so well for me in manual battles, especially against units with 14 Defense and 14 Resistance like Dragons!

All hail the Tigran shooter. Needless to say, we spent today making offerings to our Tigran Gods. Oh yeah, and my Wizard died for the fifth or sixth time. Losing track. :)

Nomaden, Tag 13

The day my tigran shredders will be able to defeat dragons will be the day when I reach nirvana but I am fairly sure that will never happen. I suspect I would end up dead, while managing to slightly wound one of the dragons. :-)
Compared to others our turn was boring.
I really wish I had some kind of healing available.

You do! Most people call it "respawning", though.
Dwarves, Day 13

Looks like the Frostlings are headed to our mines. We will clear them out.
Tigrans, Day 13

Exciting Day... We survived to see the sun set. Been a few turns since that has happened for our beloved leader.

Got to watch a battle executed by the AI. Wish I had a stack with five ballistae and three frogs. Would rather they weren't wandering in the direction of my holdings.

Alas, heroes don't respawn unless they posses the appropriate skill.

Dwarves, Day 14

We have assembled another cavalry force to kill the frostlings. Then we only need one or two more men to make a safe attempt on the other dwarven city.

OOC
- Press end turn, but notice I left my Wizard alone because of that 'convenient' interface quirk that leaves Wizards unselected by default
-Press 'Cancel', forgetting that this button doesn't work. When we reload and try to play the last bit of our turn we get blinded by Tigran desert and fail to see anything of course
-have to go to my email to manually redownload, but there's a 'cookie conflict'
-delete cookies and cache, but can't remember email password having just deleted the browser's memory of it. Password is saved on my other computer I sent off for repairs.
-Go into another browser, download my turn again, play it and send it without my lone wizard and tower in the same place undefended.
-Try to type this comment. Spend five minutes wondering why the popup for a new post isn't working until I realise that deleting cache and cookies logged me out
-Remember the Gog.com password eventually.

Moral of the story: there are some things even more aggravating than area guards

Tigrans, Day 14

We hear lots of blah, blah, blah from the Dwarven mouths echoing in the canyons.

We stay silent and deadly, like a passing of poisonous gas.

Something big is about to happen in our realm.
Hopefully I'll be around next day to report on it.

Dwarves, Day 15

The interlopers are gone. I have never before been the proud owner of a 13 defense Boar, but I'm confident it will come in useful. A real druid-killer for sure.
