We found ourselves nice little town but decided against occupying it. We didn't want to harm those several magic servants guarding it.
That's the sole reason. It has nothing to do with those 5 Karaghs helping them gaurd it. Nothing at all.

We razed a frostling town before the cats got to it, and then used our remaining frostling troops in some actions.

The same fortresses which were such an impediment when we first started out may prove useful now.

Lot of slogging today. It's tough keeping an army marching and fed.

Hopefully tomorrow we receive a little assistance from the Gods. With or without, we expect to do battle.

Whoever carved out these halls really should have made it so that it these fortified entrances could be attacked from 1 side one way, and from 3 the other.

Also, that stack of heroes.... I am really not good at this game by comparison. I had 3 and then I got them all killed to a Shadow Demon Brain +a few low level units because I forgot about Steal Enchantment.

I think we really needed this before playing this map

Artica has decided to donate Mammoths to my cause. They come in twos and threes to my enforced positions and allow themselves to be seduced to the Tigran side with money, jewels, wine, and fine felines.

Re: Heroes - Look at the info tab for Tatz. Day 59 is when I acquired a couple of strong ones during the assault on the Blue Wizard. And then I acquired your top hero shortly thereafter.

I was doing really, really poorly on this map till Day 29 till I accomplished a crazy Hard Nature Quest on the last day it was available to do so. It cost me every low level unit I had and almost killed off my heroes too. The reward was five stone elementals that have formed the backbone of army ever since.

As we feared we lost more units to magic servants than to Karaghs. I really hate those buggers, they seem to rarely miss anytime I fight them.

Nice job by the "down, but not out" Nomads to conquer the Orc empire. We will finish off the Dwarves on Day 70. Our logistics make it difficult to accomplish on Day 69, but that is a most excellent day for adventuring by most folks reckoning...

ooc: Dwarven Language plug-in - Holy crap, that would have made this even more hilarious. I still have no idea what any of the signs I've run into meant. There were a couple near me that obviously said things like "Don't rebuild this city or your ass is grass" and "Cross this line in the proverbial sand and a horde of Dragons will attack you." Or at least that's what I assume they mean based on my experiences.
