Nomaden, Tag 55

I lost the stronger half of my army in crazy attack.
My losses would be lower but at the end of combat my 2 units with 13 attack were not able to land a single hit on cannon with 6DEF and 3HP for 2 whole rounds and it managed to kill 2 of my units in the process.
At least I won.

Turn sent.
Dwarves, Day 55

We destroyed one Frostling force, but another appeared.

Tigrans, Day 55

We swarm some enemy. Take many wounds, but no fatalities. This is our usual M.O. these days. The healers in our rear train are quite busy. Magical healing would be nice.

Hm, so the settlement I fought so hard for and sacrificed so many units for can't go above town level and doesn't have almost any structures. Great reward indeed.

Dwarves, Day 56

We approach a prison, which is rather well guarded. What is contained there?

Terrible Tigrans, Day 56

Attacked a tower with three pistol wielding humans. Naturally, all three shot the same gold medal unit with 16 defense for at least 6 points apiece and killed him. Sigh...

Same stack attacked a town with eight pistol wielding humans. They offered to surrender. I've never clicked yes so fast. Screw the XP, those guys have freaking pistols. I'm bringing knives to this fight.

You realize the 8 stack is going to whiff every shot ever, right? The group of three was obviously a small heroic band with names and everything. The group of 8 were just storm troopers.

So thrilling.

XP farming is hard, hard work. One small mis-step and you lose your unit with entangle, paralyzing shots, or strangle. Then that poor hero is stuck having to actually take risks. And where is the fun and gamesmanship in that?
Dwarves, Day 57

We finally gained access to the broken teleporter near our first Tower, and are repairing it. Other parts of our empire's forces may have all sorts of fancy archons, mammoths, heroes and what-have-you, but the third front will just be a load of humble old infantry.
Tigrans, Day 57

We pulled a Vitek.

Took three strong stacks to assault a single stack defending a research node.

CHARGE!!!!

Forgot to notice that the research node was on a mountain stack. Only five of the 24 units actually followed our orders and charged.

After a couple of casualties, we decided to do our research the old fashioned way.

Yay, I now get strategies named after me.
I am almost as famous as Sun Tzu! :-)

Nomaden, Tag 58

We did very little this turn.

Turn not sent because I wrote this while the game was starting up. :-)

EDIT: Something actually happened, we were joined by hero who even possesses 2 artifacts.

Turn sent.

Dwarves, Day 58

We fought a stack with two Doom Wolves, some Mammoths etc to release some prison inmates.

The prisoners who joined us were... basic frostling troops and a level 1 hero.

Tigrans, Day 58

We look forward to breaking some peasants from their jail cells tomorrow. Today we prepared our saviors and gave them all the keys to success.

Hmm, the town full of trolls and other archers was taken by Orcs, who have not a single shooter in there. That's not the worst developement we could imagine. Time for it to change sides next turn once again.
